B E A M// BRISTOL.EXCHANGE.OF.ARTS.&.MUSIC.

Snippet from the amazing Mail, Maps & Motion event in the Passenger Shed at Bristol’s Temple Meads train station, as part of the See No Evil weekend, in front of 2500 people. BEAM// created a live soundtrack response to Len Lye’s psychedelic experimental 1937 GPO¬† film Trade Tattoo and Norman McClaren’s Dali-esque Love On The Wing from 1938. This was followed by a montage including live drawings via iPad by renowned street artist Inkie, fusing images from the films with his own live creations, and in response to a 20 minute semi improvised musical piece by BEAM//. The band line up on the night was Scott Hendy (DJ/Electronicas/MPC), SJ Esau (Guitar, Electronics), Si John (Bass) abd Andy Sutor (Drums). Little bit from a ‘bands eye view’ here
